You do not have to be artistic to create stunning floral designs. At the Judith Blacklock Flower School, we teach you in a straightforward and relaxed way that really does lead to success. Once we have taught you the techniques, we encourage you to adapt the designs and develop your own style.

I take great pride in my exceptional team of tutors, who come from all over the country. Each has their own area of expertise, but they are a rare group in that they are all highly-qualified, professional floral designers and outstanding teachers. Between them, they have many decades of experience in all aspects of floristry, in all walks of life. From private dinners at Kensington Palace, to RHS Chelsea - they have been there. I like to teach part of evey course myself, so that I understand your aims and objectives and can help wherever I can.

Being able to arrange flowers properly has many benefits. It maximises the life and beauty of the flowers and is also a tremendously rewarding hobby - or indeed career - that brings hours of pleasure. I am delighted to say that scientists agree. Many studies have found it to be therapeutic, which is why I always say that doctors should prescribe my courses. As students walk into the calm of the school, their shoulders visibly relax.
