Business of Floristry – two week course
Suitable for beginners and those with some knowledge

This very popular course has now been running for more than 13 years. It is ideal for those considering a change in career or wanting an in-depth look at the world of floristry.

Our students, who come from all over the world, go on to achieve wonderful things - be it opening their own successful business, or working for renowned designers. See here

A life-changing two weeks. You leave the school knowing you can achieve your dreams.
- Claire P. (May 2013)

The course is held over two weeks and is jam-packed with practical work, theory and as much advice as you can take on board. It is led by Judith and her exceptional team of tutors. Each has their own area of expertise - including corporate, wedding and sympathy work - and they are a rare gang in that they are all highly-qualified professional florists and outstanding teachers. Their teaching is down-to-earth and waffle free, while their design and floristry skills are world class. Between them, they have many decades of experience in all aspects of floristry and some bring knowledge from other professions. From billionaires' yachts to private dinners at Kensington Palace and weddings at Hampton Court Palace, they have been there - and will share all of their insiders' secrets with you.

This course has been much copied over the years, but we take imitation as flattery. Judith has hit on the perfect formula, which has been tried and tested by thousands of satisfied students. We believe that it is impossible to give a thorough foundation in floristry in less than two weeks. Our students often congratulate us on its excellent value for money.

• Pricing and costing
• Purchasing wholesale - the best sources for your needs
• Taking on premises
• Running a florist's shop

• Marketing a floristry business, including social media

Everything I was hoping for and more. An extremely friendly, personal and professional environment in which to learn. I ended the two weeks equipped with the knowledge and confidence I had hoped for. All that is needed now is some practical experience and I'll be away!
- Pauline W., Business of Floristry (May 2013)

The course was so informative for people who want to learn how to make a business out of flowers and I feel so much more confident now. The mix of tutors was perfect and it was lovely that they were all prepared to share their knowledge. I know so much now and it turns out I rather enjoyed all the flower work as well. No stopping me – and all thanks to you. I cannot thank you enough.
Lesley Farrer, Business of Floristry (March 2013)

It has been 2 months now since I completed the Business of Floristry course. It covered everything that I needed to know and gave me confidence to open my own florist, BelleRose Flower Boutique in November 2012. We have been really busy and have had lots of positive feedback. I would like to say a huge thank-you to you and all your staff who made the two weeks very enjoyable. The course was brilliant and I would definitely recommend it.
Nina Friedlander, September 2012

Just a note to say a huge 'thank you' for an amazing fortnight at the Flower School. You have taught us so much and looked after us so well - from amazing teachers, the never-ending knowledge, tips and advice, the stunning flowers and the very welcome stream of tea and biscuits!I have loved every minute and only wish I was at the beginning of my
two weeks, and not at the end.

Emma Whitehead, Business of Floristry (September 2012)

The Business of Floristry Course covered everything that I needed to know to start my career - from the practical floristry skills to business knowledge. The tutors were inspiring and by the end, I felt ready to take on anything. With the bonus of work experience arranged, I have had the chance to work with some top florists at high profile venues. This is something that I aspired to later in my career. I never dreamt it would be possible at the beginning, but Judith made it happen.
