| This enjoyable and instructive course requires no prior
experience. English as a first language is not essential. The course will be intensive, but taught in an easily comprehensible style.
Students will come away with inspiration and confidence both areas. The course includes visits to London’s private gardens – rarely open to the public – to show the design principles in practice. The May course includes a visit to Chelsea Flower Show. |
This six day course offers a taste of two exciting design disciplines: floral design, and garden design. With the common theme of flowers, the course will provide insight into the many possibilities for creativity in the home and garden.
Floral design taught by Judith Blacklock and her team and will focus on stylish designs for the home, both English classic and European contemporary. Judith will teach the design fundamentals that apply to both disciplines.
Garden design taught by David Stevens who has won many gold medals at Chelsea Flower Show for his gardens. David Stevens is designing the Princess Diana Memorial Rose Garden at the Royal National Rose Society Gardens.
