Sad to say goodbye to our latest Business of Floristry students, but we're very excited for them as they head off to embark on their new careers. We've secured work experience for them with fantastic floral designers of their choice, all over the world - including Colorado, Toronto, York and closer to home. One lucky lady is thrilled to be shadowing the designer who did Kate Moss's wedding this summer. We work very hard at building good relationships with florists working in all areas, which enables us to find students invaluable work placements. This makes us unique.

Princess Catherine Doll

Judith was both delighted and amused to act as the flower consultant for the new Princess Catherine Doll. Made by Arklu, it 'resembles' the Duchess of Cambridge on her wedding day - right down to the lily-of-the-valley bouquet. The doll has received loads of interest - some detractors, but mostly positive. The detail really is incredible and we predict it will star on lots of letters to Father Christmas this year.

The doll is on sale at www.arklu.com and all major toy retailers, for £49.95 - and the great thing is that for each one sold, £1 is donated to the RNLI .

Flowers at Chicheley Hall

For the past year, Judith has dedicated much of her time to co-organising Flowers at Chicheley Hall, so she was delighted that it was such a success. Over three days at the beginning of August, leading designers and flower arrangers converged on this beautiful Georgian house and its grounds, transforming it into a floral spectacle. RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2011: Cupcakes and Royalty

We have had such a busy week at Chelsea, where Judith demonstrated her latest ideas to a packed floral theatre. If you missed out, here are some of the fantastic designs. Judith was very honoured that Peter Seagrove of The Sun asked her once again to create the Queen's bouquet, which was presented to her when she visited the Show. It incorporated sweet peas and sweet Williams - the very essence of summer. Some of you might have seen Judith's floral cupcakes which were featured on the BBC's Chelsea Highlights. They really looked good enough to eat - which has set a few ideas in motion. Watch this space!

Royal wedding

We can't help but feel a little deflated now that The Wedding is over, having loved all of the anticipation and excitement. Hardly a day seemed to pass when Judith wasn't asked for her predictions from newspapers, magazines and camera crews - who included Fox (USA), N-TV (Germany), Seven Network (Australia) and Reuters. Judith's thrilled that she was so spot on with her suggestions of how the flowers would look (see Telegraph link below).

But now that the flowers have wilted and the bunting's been taken down, we're left with lots of happy memories:

Just wanted to send a quick word of thanks for helping us with our wedding coverage. You were a true joy to work with. And your flowers are absolutely beautiful. I hope you had fun. Please keep in touch!
Thanks again, Jenna and the Fox team
