Judith Blacklock has been teaching floral design around the world for more than 40 years. She believes this brings a depth of experience and perspective that sets her teaching apart. After 25 successful years running her renowned flower school in Knightsbridge, London, Judith has made the decision to focus fully on her highly regarded online floristry courses.
These online courses have been developed to offer the same high standards and personal guidance that thousands of students experienced in person, now with the flexibility to learn from anywhere in the world.
All accreditations awarded through the school remain fully recognised. This includes ongoing accreditation from the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD).

About Judith
As well as leading her award-winning flower school in London, Judith Blacklock is the author of 18 bestselling books on flower arranging and floral design. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Horticulture. She has designed many medal-winning exhibits at RHS Chelsea Flower Show. Judith has taught on almost every continent and is widely recognised as one of the most trusted names in floral education.
Appearances and Events
Over the past 25 years, she has organised some of the largest contemporary floral events ever held in the UK, including Flowers@Chicheley and Flowers@Oxford. Judith has taught in the USA, Canada, Japan, China, the UAE and many other countries, as well as at prestigious venues including the Chelsea Flower Show and Kensington Palace.
Her clients have included members of the Royal Family, as well as household names such as Kirstie Allsopp, Gordon Ramsay, Keeley Hawes and James May. Judith has appeared on national television, including the series Made in Chelsea, and has acted as a floral design consultant to companies such as M&S, Channel 4, Topshop, Tesco, BT and Investec.
Learn From Renowned Tutors
Judith is supported by a team of exceptional tutors who each bring their own professional floristry experience and teaching expertise. All are highly qualified floral designers with a shared passion for helping students succeed.
Between them, the team has created events and installations at locations such as Hampton Court Palace, Kensington Palace, Kew Gardens, The Hurlingham Club and Somerset House. Two of the tutors are senior RHS judges and have awarded and received gold medals at the Chelsea Flower Show and other national shows.

Sustainability
Over the past decade, floral designers have increasingly embraced more sustainable practices, from the way flowers are sourced to the mechanics used in arrangements. At the Judith Blacklock Flower School, we never use non-biodegradable floral foam and actively encourage our students to explore a wide range of eco-friendly alternatives.
Whether you’re attending in person or joining us online, you’ll learn how to securely construct arrangements using sustainable materials such as pin holders (kenzans), tubes, stems, and pure copper wire. Our courses are designed to equip you with the latest techniques and tools – from tried-and-tested methods to innovative foam alternatives.
