At the school, we teach in a logical and straightforward way that really does work. We start with the classics and quickly progress to cutting-edge trends. Once confident with the techniques, we encourage you to develop your own individual style based on structured guidelines. We believe that everybody can succeed and our students prove that this is so - many now run successful flower companies or simply enjoy arranging flowers for themselves more confidently. On longer courses we have an exceptional team of tutors who have their own particular expertise - they are both professional florists and experienced qualified tutors. Judith teaches on virtually every course, so that she can understand the aims and objectives of every student and help wherever she can. We also provide handouts and presentations in Chinese and Japanese on all our courses of three days or longer to help our foreign language students.
In 2011, she organised Flowers@Chicheley Hall, the largest contemporary cut-flower event that has ever been staged in the UK and in 2014 Flowers@Oxford to great acclaim. Judith has travelled and taught in China, Dubai, Turkey, USA, Canada, Japan and Kuwait. She was also editor of The Flower Arranger magazine from 2003 - 2016.
She has arranged flowers at many high-profile venues such as Kensington Palace and taught floral design to personalities including Kirstie Allsopp, Gordon Ramsay, Keeley Hawes, Jason Brown from boyband ‘Five', John Sergeant and James May from Top Gear. One of her favourite appearances was in Made in Chelsea. Judith has created many bouquets for members of the royal family. She has also acted as a consultant to Investec, Topshop, Tesco, BT, Channel 4 and Marks & Spencer.
