Flowers for Beginners old

February 14th is the day when more flowers are sold than at any other time of the year. Judith Blacklock has arranged a special morning visit to the flower market on Monday 13th, followed by a workshop to create a stunning handtied that can be given to anyone at anytime.

The Valentine's Day Special is geared to complete beginners who don’t know a peony from a rose. We start at New Covent Garden Flower Market at 8.30am for a comprehensive tour where you cannot fail to be wowed and inspired by the vast selection of flowers, foliage, plants, vases, containers, candles, ribbons, shells - and just about everything you could possibly need. We will introduce you to stunning blooms, teach you how to choose the freshest and loveliest specimens - and how to care for them so that they last to their full potential.

Following this immersion into the world of flowers, taxis will be provided to take you to the flower school in Knightsbridge where you will enjoy coffee and a croissant followed by more practical advice and all the tips you could need, plus the chance to make one stunning handtied bouquet to take home.
