Growing & Arranging Cut Flowers is a one day practical workshop with Judith Blacklock and Jim Buttress that will give you all the information and techniques you will need for choosing and growing flowers in your garden for cutting all year-round.
On this one day course you will experience intensive learning from three professional tutors. Judith will inform you on which foliage to grow in the garden so that you can use your own prunings in lovely floral displays rather than disposing of them as compost. Sian will give advice on how to create a year-round cutting garden for flowers and seedheads. She will also show you how to propagate even if you have a small suburban garden and no greenhouse or cold frame. Following this, Jim Buttress, star of The Big Allotment Challenge and winner of eight gold medals at RHS Chelsea will be giving personal advice to each participant on how to make use of their individual gardens.
When booking please send images of your garden to email@example.com so that Jim can be prepared to give his wonderful enthusiastic and inspirational advice.
For the practical session, Judith will show you how to make the most of the flowers you grow and you will create a seasonal handtied of British grown flowers using her infallible technique which of course you will take home.
