Long-lasting flowers – working with dried and preserved plant material

Learn everything about dried flowers including the best blooms to choose for colour and form and the best methods of drying so they keep their character. Preserved means that the natural flower has been treated so that it lasts and retains its colour.

You will make two designs to take home. The first will use specially selected dried flowers including hydrangea, lavender and roses. Your second design will be smaller, using beautiful preserved flowers.

For those interested in knowing more about silk flowers and how to work with them this will be explained on request.
